Carole Wilkinson is the award-winning author of the Dragonkeeper Trilogy, published in 14 countries. Dragon Moon, the third book in the trilogy, won the 2008 CBCA Book of the Year for Younger Readers. Her edited version of Ned Kelly’s Jerilderie Letter (illustrated by Dean Jones) was shortlisted for the 2008 Eve Pownall Award.

Publication last year of the sumptuous Dragon Companion: An Encyclopedia (a CBCA Notable Book) is a celebration of her passion for dragons. Her latest book is a prequel to the Dragonkeeper series called Dragon Dawn.

She lives in Melbourne with her husband, John, and dog, Rita.
