Perth Writers' Festival

perth_festivalSituated on the beautiful grounds of The University of Western Australia, the Perth Writers Festival is a celebration of the written word in all its forms. With something for everyone, the long weekend includes a fabulous opening party, readings, talks, workshops and our always popular Family Day. It is an integral part of teh fabulous Perth Festival that runs from Feb 10 to March 3 in 2012.

Perth Writers Festival Family Day 2012

Children of all ages can get hands-on with readings, games, workshops and activities that bring the imaginative world of books to life. Authors and illustrators entertain and enlighten in an outdoor carnival atmosphere that has everything from face painting, balloon-twisting and circus skills demonstrations, not to mention A Capella group Coco's Lunch and their dynamic children's show.

With so much to do, your day will be jam-packed with excitement!
