Reality Bites - The Truth About Nonfiction
What's it all about? Reality Bites presents some of Australia’s best nonfiction writing as well as the challenges of contemporary issues, research and enquiry. Festival sessions are intended to be informal, relaxed and enjoyable, with dedicated time for your questions from the floor.

Who? This year there are 36 authors on the program – covering memoir, biography, history, song and scriptwriting, political and scientific investigation.
What Events?
In addition to author talks, readings, panel discussions and book launches, the program includes three literary lunches, and several workshops with not-to-be-missed presenters. A new program exclusively for local writers has also been introduced this year.

Visitor Information?
The festival program is focussed around the hinterland town of Cooroy and the coastal region of Noosaville. The Sunshine Coast domestic airport is a 35 minutes drive and Brisbane is around 90 minutes. Maps and local information can be provided on requests.
