Sutherland Shire Writers' Festival

From humble beginnings, the program has expanded since 2009 to incorporate workshops, book launches and publishing consultations as well as author talks and book signings.

With a strong focus on education and the encouragement of aspiring writer’s and illustrators, the festival also aims to promote and support Australian writers and publishers. 

Presenters range from those at the top of their field to newly emerging talents and the topics and genres of writing presented aim to reflect the diversity of aspiring writers within our community. 

For the first time in 2011 the event incorporated a youth component.
